Earlier this year I started posting an occasional feature on Facebook in which I would take real letters from the Dear Abby column and provide my own advice in place of Abby’s.  I didn’t have any grandiose plans, but I received some positive feedback and my little sister Nicole was particularly enthusiastic about me making this a regular feature. I now have six of them, so I thought that was enough material for a Circular File post.

Again, these are actual unedited letters from Dear Abby, so I’m probably running afoul of some copyright law here. I’m posting them as graphic images to keep Abby’s team of lawyers at bay for at least a little while.

Without further ado, allow me to present “Dear Mike,” in which I dispense the advice that Abby can’t (or won’t).
